Use the Potting Mix We Use in Our Greenhouses!

The mistake we see our customers make the most during the growing season is planting their high-quality plants in very low grade soil, which is usually just black dirt. Besides water, top-quality potting soil is the single best thing you can give to a plant in a container. The potting soil should be sterile, lightweight, and free from soil-borne diseases and weed seeds. To ensure your soil meets all of these criteria, purchase it from our garden center: The same mixture we use in our greenhouses!
Our potting soil contains a professional blend of sphagnum moss, processed pine bark, horticultural grade perlite and vermiculite, limestone, and gypsum .

Bart's Home Remedy Insecticide

1 gal. water
4 oz. soap (Joy liquid)
12 oz. alcohol
1/3 teaspoon lime juice
1/3 teaspoon salt
Mix all ingredients together. Use a cloth to wipe down the leaves of your plant with solution.
